BREAKING: UPDATE: Camden, New Jersey Homicide Investigation

ON FRIDAY 38-YEAR-OLD CAMDEN MAN DIES FROM INJURIES AFTER BEING SHOT ON NOVEMBER 20, 2023

     "After Fighting To Stay Alive Anthony Young Sadly Dies From Injuries 25 Days After Being Shot On A Camden, New Jersey Street."

CAMDEN, NJ.- Yesterday, Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay reported that on Friday, December 15, 2023, a 38-Year-Old Camden, New Jersey man succumbs to the injuries he sustained after being Shot on a Camden Street in late November.


     On Monday, November 20, 2023, shortly after 9:00 p.m., Members of The Camden County Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a Person being Shot on Hunter Drive in Camden City. Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, later identified as Anthony Young, 38, of Camden City, New Jersey, suffering from an apparent Gunshot Wound.


     Mr. Young was immediately transported to Cooper University Hospital for treatment. Mr. Young remained in the hospital in Critical Condition until Friday, December 15, 2023, when he lost his fight to stay alive and was pronounced deceased at 1:25 p.m.


     The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time.
