EAST ORANGE, NJ.- Essex County Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the Death of a 68-Year-Old man whose body was found in an East Orange, New Jersey Park last night.
According to Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II, on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at 5:38 p.m., Members of The Essex County Sheriff's Department were notified of a Man's Body found in a Creek in Watsessing Park, located in East Orange, New Jersey.
Upon arrival, Police Officers found the Body of Frank Vergilio, 68, of East Orange, New Jersey. Mr. Vergilio was pronounced deceased at the scene at 7:42 p.m. The Cause and The Manner of Death are pending the findings of The Essex County Regional Medical Examiner's Office.
