AN APPARENT DOMESTIC DISPUTE TURNS DEADLY WHEN A WOMAN PLUNGES A KNIFE INTO HER BOYFRIEND

PENNSAUKEN, NJ.- A 23-Year-Old Pennsauken, New Jersey woman has been Charged with Aggravated Manslaughter in the Thursday Morning Fatal Stabbing of her 20-Year-Old Boyfriend.
According to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay, on Thursday, November 16, 2023, just shortly before 11:00 a.m., Members of The Pennsauken Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a Man Bleeding located on The 3700 Block of Herbert Avenue in Pennsauken.
Upon arrival, Police Officers located a man, later identified as Charles Blackwell, 20, of Pennsauken, New Jersey suffering from a Stab Wound. Mr. Blackwell was immediately transported to Cooper University Hospital, where despite Life-Saving Efforts Mr. Blackwell succumbed to his injury and was pronounced deceased at 12:23 p.m.
As a result of the initial investigation, Police Officers determined that Mr. Blackwell's Girlfriend, Yamil I Cuevas, 23, of Pennsauken, New Jersey Fatally Stabbed Mr. Blackwell.
Accordingly, Ms. Cuevas was Taken into Custody and Formally Charged with First Degree Aggravated Manslaughter; Third Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and Fourth Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.
Ms. Cuevas was Processed on The Charges and Remanded to The Camden County Correctional Facility to await Future Court Proceedings.
