BREAKING: Fort Lee, New Jersey Death Investigation

TWO DEAD, THREE HOSPITALIZED IN AN APPARENT DRUG OVERDOSE INSIDE A FORT LEE MOTEL ROOM

     " Bergen County Authorities Continue To Investigate Yesterday Afternoon's Fatal Drug Overdose."

FORT LEE, NJ.- Bergen County Authorities are continuing their investigation into an Apparent Drug Overdose that has left Two People Dead and another Three Hospitalized after Police Officers discovered the Five inside a Fort Lee, New Jersey Motel Room Yesterday Afternoon.



     According to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella, on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at approximately 1:41 p.m., Members of The Fort Lee Police Department responded to a room at The Skyview Motel located on Bergen Boulevard in Fort Lee for a Possible Medical Call.


     Upon arrival, Police Officers discovered Five Individuals who were in and out of consciousness from what was consistent with a Drug Overdose. The Police Officers immediately rendered Medical Assistance including administering Naloxone. Two of the Individuals did not respond to the Naloxone and were subsequently pronounced deceased. The other Three Individuals were immediately transported to an area Hospital for treatment their condition is unknown at this time.


     Bergen County Authorities have not released the names of the victims pending notification of their families. 


     The investigation by The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office and The Fort Lee Police Department remains active and ongoing. More information may become available once released by authorities.
