44-YEAR-OLD POINT PLEASANT WOMAN CHARGED FOR EMBEZZLING NEARLY $200K FROM HER EMPLOYER

WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ.- Yesterday, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago reported that an Ocean County Woman was Arrested and Charged with The Theft of Nearly $200,000. from her Wall Township, New Jersey Employer.
An investigation by The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office Financial Crimes and Public Corruption Bureau was launched earlier this year after The Prosecutor's Office received notification from a Company Representative of The Wall-Based Firm that used to Employ Jessica L. Schott.
After a review of The Company's Financial Records, Detectives were able to determine that Ms. Schott was responsible for making Unauthorized Debit-Card Purchases and ATM Withdrawals from The Company's Bank Account. Ms. Schott collected Unauthorized Additional Paychecks, Expense Checks, and Overtime, in many of the instances using Documents containing Forged Signatures. Schott Allegedly used the Stolen Funds, which amounted to $195,320. to cover Personal Expenses.
Accordingly, Jessica L. Schott, 44, of Point Pleasant, New Jersey was Formally Charged with Second Degree Theft by Unlawful Taking; Third Degree Forgery; and Third Degree False Uttering. Ms. Schott was Processed on The Charges and Released on a Summons pending Future Court Proceedings in Monmouth County Superior Court in Freehold, New Jersey.
