BREAKING: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Men Charged With Weapons Offenses

BERGEN COUNTY NARCOTICS INVESTIGATION RESULTS IN THREE PHILLY MEN BEING CHARGED

     " 3 21-Year-Old Philadelphia Men Were Arrested & Charged Last Thursday After A Loaded Gun Was Found During A Narcotics Investigation."

HACKENSACK, NJ.- After a Traffic Stop in Bergen County last Thursday during the course of a Narcotics Investigation, Three 21-Year-Old Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Men were Arrested and Charge when Narcotics Task Force Detectives found them to be in Possession of a Loaded Handgun with Hollow Point Bullets.


     According to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella, on Thursday, October 19, 2023, during a Narcotics Investigation, Detectives of The Bergen County Narcotics Task Force conducted a Motor Vehicle Traffic Stop on a car that was traveling through Bergen County, New Jersey. During the stop, Detectives found that a passenger in the car was Carrying a Loaded Handgun Concealed in his Waistband. A search of the car uncovered a Second Handgun, both Guns were Loaded with Hollow Nose Bullets.


     Accordingly, Chelvin Castillo-Paula, 21, and Anthony Medina-Suarez, 21, both of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, were Arrested and Formally Charged each with Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon; and Fourth Degree Prohibited Weapons for Possessing Hollow Point Bullets. Victor Garcia-Morla, 21, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was Arrested and Formally Charged with Two Counts of Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon; and Fourth Degree Prohibited Weapons for Possessing Hollow Point Bullets.


     All Three Men were Processed on The Charges and remanded to The Bergen County Jail in Hackensack, New Jersey pending Future Court Proceedings.
