NEWARK, NJ.- A 60-Year-Old New York City man became the latest victim of Newark's Gun Violence when he was Shot Dead Yesterday Afternoon on a Newark, New Jersey Street.
According to Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at approximately 3:55 p.m., Members of The Newark Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call on The 300 Block of Renner Avenue in Newark on a report that a Shooting had occurred.
Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, later identified as Vincent J. Anderson, 60, of New York City on the ground Unresponsive from a Gunshot Wound. Mr. Anderson was pronounced deceased at the scene at 4:11 p.m.
