A NEW BRUNSWICK MAN FATALLY STABS A WOMAN AND MAN SATURDAY NIGHT HE THEN TAKES HIS OWN LIFE

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ.- Middlesex County Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding a Saturday Night Double Murder that took place at a New Brunswick Park, at which time the perpetrator then returned to Pine Street Home and committed Suicide.
According to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone, just minutes after 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2023, Members of The New Brunswick Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a Stabbing at Feaster Park located in the area of Handy Street and Throop Avenue in The City of New Brunswick.
Upon arrival, Police Officers discovered Gabriela De La Cruz Camero, 22, of New Brunswick, New Jersey, suffering from Multiple Stab Wounds in the Park. Ms. Camero was immediately transported to Robert Wood University Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries and was subsequently pronounced deceased.
After finding Ms. Camero in The Park, Police Officers discovered Jesus Antonio-Salazar, 25, of New Brunswick, New Jersey, near The Park at the intersection of Handy Street and Throop Avenue Dead from Multiple Stab Wounds, Mr. Antonio-Salazar was pronounced deceased at the scene.
During the initial investigation of the Stabbings of Ms. Camero and Mr. Antonio-Salazar, The New Brunswick Police Department received a 911 Emergency Call at approximately 2:13 a.m., reporting that an Unresponsive Man had been found at a residence located at 7 Pine Street in New Brunswick. Upon arrival, Police Officers found Eduardo Mateo Lorenzo, 26, or New Brunswick, New Jersey, Dead from an apparent Suicide.
The ensuing investigation by Members of The Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office and The New Brunswick Police Department were able to determine that Mr. Mateo Lorenzo found Ms. Camero and Mr. Antonio-Salazar at Feaster Park and approached the Two and Fatally Stabbed them. Then Mr. Mateo Lorenzo Fled and then returned to the Pine Street residence and took his own life early Sunday Morning. Detectives have further determined that the Three knew each other, but the exact motive still remains under investigation. Middlesex County Authorities have ruled this an isolated incident and there is no Threat to The Public.
