BREAKING: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Man Charged With Murder

44-YEAR-OLD PHILADELPHIA MAN CHARGED WITH THE SHOOTING DEATH OF CAMDEN NEW JERSEY MAN

     "Michael Field Has Been Charged With Murder & Weapons Offenses For Gunning Down Jody Spence In Camden On October 6, 2023."

CAMDEN, NJ.- Yesterday, Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay reported that on Thursday, October 19, 2023, a 44-Year-Old Philadelphia, Pennsylvania man was Arrested and Charged in connection with The Fatal Shooting of Jody Spence, 31, of Camden, New Jersey, that occurred on Friday, October 6, 2023, outside a Camden Motorcycle Club.


     On Wednesday, October 11, 2023, Detectives of The Camden County Prosecutor's Office Homicide Unit were contacted by The Philadelphia Police Department 6th District with information that Jody Spence's Body found on The 400 Block of North 5th Street in Philadelphia. 


      An ensuing investigation by Members of The Camden County Homicide Unit were able to determine that Spence during some type of Altercation was Fatally Shot on Friday, October 6, 2023, at around 10:30 p.m. outside of The Wheels of Soul Motorcycle Club located on the 800 Block of Princess Avenue in Camden, New Jersey. Detectives were able to Identify Michael Field as a Suspect and the Individual responsible for The Shooting Death of Mr. Spence.  


     At the conclusion of the investigation, Members of The U.S. Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force Arrested Michael Field, 44, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Field was Formally Charged with First Degree Murder; Second Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.
