ROCHELLE PARK, NJ.- Following an Investigation into the Multiple Sexual Assaults on Child, a 42-Year-Old Rochelle Park, New Jersey man has been Arrested and Charged with Multiple Sex Crimes.
Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella reported, that on Friday, October 20, 2023, Detectives of The Rochelle Park Police Department contacted The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit regarding the Alleged Sexual Assault of a Child.
An investigation by Members of The Bergen County Special Victims Unit and The Rochelle Park Police Department determined that Luis Zumba Chablay, 42, of Rochelle Park, New Jersey Sexually Assaulted the Child who was Sixteen Years Old or Younger at the time of The Assaults that occurred in Rochelle Park and Hackensack, New Jersey on Multiple Occasions.
Accordingly, on Saturday, October 21, 2023, Mr. Zumba Chablay was Taken into Custody at The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office in Paramus, New Jersey, and Formally Charged with Five Counts of First Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault; Two Counts of Second Degree Sexual Assault; Second Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child; Third Degree Criminal Sexual Contact; and Fourth Degree Criminal Sexual Contact.
Mr. Zumba Chablay was Processed on The Charges and Remanded to The Bergen County Jail pending Future Court Proceedings in Bergen County State Superior Court.
