THREE DEAD, ONE CRITICAL, AND TWO INJURED IN EARLY MONDAY MORNING JERSEY CITY CAR CRASH

JERSEY CITY, NJ.- Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez reported, that The Hudson County Regional Collision Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding a Two Car Crash that has Killed Three and has left Three Hospitalized that occurred in Jersey City, New Jersey early yesterday morning.
On Monday, October 16, 2023, at approximately 12:45 a.m., Members of The Jersey City Police Department responded to the area of Paterson Plank Road near Congress Street on a report of Two-Motor Vehicle Collision. Upon arrival, Police Officers located a BMW Sport Utility Vehicle that had Crashed Head-On with a Kia Sedan. The Driver of The Kia, identified as Dylan Weidenfield, 26, of Jersey City, New Jersey was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The BMW was occupied by Five Individuals. A Female Backseat Passenger was also pronounced deceased at the scene. A Male Backseat Passenger was transported to Jersey City Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased a short time later. A Third Backseat passenger, a 19-Year-Old Female, remains hospitalized at Jersey City Medical Center where she remains in Critical Condition. The Driver of the BMW a 23-Year-Old Man and a 23-Year-Old Front Seat Female Passenger were transported to Jersey City Medical Center and are being treated for Non-Life Threatening Injuries.
