WOODLAND PARK, NJ.- Passaic County Authorities are actively searching for a Mini-Van that Struck a 31-Year-Old Woodland Park Woman and Fled the Scene leaving her to Die on a Woodland Park Roadway Sunday Evening.
Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes reported, that on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at approximately 7:35 p.m., Members of The Woodland Park Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a Hit-and-Run Motor Vehicle Collision in the area of McBride Avenue and Hughes Place in Woodland Park.
Upon arrival, Police Officers found a Woman, later identified as Lillian Zamlout, 31, of Woodland Park, New Jersey, suffering from Life-Threatening Injuries. Ms. Zamlout was immediately transported to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center where she succumbed to injuries and was pronounced deceased a short time later.
The preliminary investigation determined that while Walking on the Sidewalk, Ms. Zamlout was Struck by a Black Honda Odyssey Mini-Van, which then Fled the Scene. The investigation continues to be active and ongoing.
