BREAKING: Elizabeth, New Jersey Man Charged Sex Crimes Against A Minor

78-YEAR-OLD ELIZABETH MAN CHARGED IN CONNECTION WITH SEX CRIMES ON A MINOR BACK IN 2015

ELIZABETH, NJ.- Union County Prosecutor William A Daniel reported that last Friday a 78-Year-Old Elizabeth, New Jersey man was Arrested and Charged after Disembarking a Plane at Newark Liberty International Airport for Sex Crimes he allegedly committed in 2015.


     Neil Rosenstein, 78, of Elizabeth, New Jersey has Formally been Charged with Second Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child; Third Degree Criminal Sexual Contact; and Fourth Degree Criminal Sexual Contact. 


     According to Union County Authorities, in October of 2022, Members of The Elizabeth Police Department received information about Alleged Sexual Acts committed by Mr. Rosenstein upon a Child, which occurred in 2015. A Joint Investigation by Detectives of The Elizabeth Police Department in conjunction with Members of The Union County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit determined that Mr. Rosenstein committed the Assault in Elizabeth, New Jersey during the summer of 2015, upon the Child who was Fifteen Years Old at the time of the Assault.


      At the conclusion of the investigation, Mr. Rosenstein was Charged but had left the country, and was ultimately Arrested last Friday after arriving on a Flight at Newark Liberty International Airport from another Country.


      Rosenstein was Processed on The Charges and Remanded to The Essex County Correctional Facility pending Future Court Proceedings in Union County State Superior Court.
