NEW MILFORD, NJ.- Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella reported that Detectives of The Bergen County Major Crimes Unit and The New Milford Police Department are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the Deaths of Two People who were found Dead late yesterday afternoon inside a Home on Myrtle Avenue in New Milford, New Jersey.
On Saturday, October 7, 2023, at approximately 4:15 p.m., Members of The New Milford Police Department responded to a request to conduct a Welfare Check at a residence located on Myrtle Avenue. Upon entry to the residence Police Officers found an Unidentified Man and Woman Dead inside the Home.
At this time, The Cause and Manner of Death and the Names of The Individuals have not been released. This is an active and ongoing investigation. More information may become available once released by Bergen County Authorities.
