71-YEAR-OLD WEST WINDSOR WOMAN BEATEN TO DEATH INSIDE HER HOME

     " Mercer County Homicide Task Force Investigating The Circumstances Surrounding The Murder Of Elaine Murray

WEST WINDSOR, NJ.- Yesterday, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri reported that Detectives of The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and The West Windsor Township Police Department are continuing to investigate the Death of a 71-Year-Old West Winsor Woman who was found Dead inside her Home Wednesday Night.

     On Wednesday, August 2, 2023, shortly after 8:00 p.m., Members of The West Windsor Township Police Department responded to a residence on Galston Drive after neighbors that were conducting a Well-Being Check on a woman who lives alone noticed evidence of a Break-In. 

     Upon arrival, Police Officers made entry into the home and found a woman, identified as Elaine Murray, 71, lying on the floor of a Second Floor Bedroom Dead. Ms. Murray appeared to have signs of injuries to her Face, Neck, and Head.

     Ms. Murray's Death is under active investigation by The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and The West Windsor Police Department. No arrests have been made at this time and the Cause of Ms. Murray's Death is pending the results of The Mercer County Medical Examiner's Office.
