BREAKING: Salvadorian National Man Living In Waldwick, New Jersey Charged

46-YEAR-OLD WALDWICK MAN CHARGED WITH SEXUALLY ASSAULTING A CHILD FOR OVER A DECADE

     " Jonan Pascasio-Erazo Was Arrested On Friday & Charged With Sex Crimes For The Continued Sexual Assaults Upon A Child."

WALDWICK, NJ.- Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella reported that following an investigation, on Friday, August 4, 2023, a 46-Year-Old Waldwick, New Jersey man was Taken into Custody and Charged for the Decade Long Sexual Assault of a Child in three New Jersey Towns.



     On Friday, August 4, 2023, The Waldwick Police Department contacted The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit regarding The Alleged Sexual Assault of a Child. An investigation was immediately initiated by Detectives of The Bergen County Special Victims Unit in conjunction with Members of The Waldwick Police Department. Through the investigative efforts of Detectives, it was determined that Jonan Pascasio-Erazo, 46, of Waldwick, New Jersey, Sexually Assaulted the Child in Three New Jersey Towns, Waldwick, Mahwah, and Belmar, located in Monmouth County. The Multiple Sexual Assaults occurred between the Years of 2012 and 2023.


     Accordingly, on Friday, August 4, 2023, Mr. Pascasio-Erazo was Arrested in Waldwick, New Jersey, and Charged with Eight Counts of First Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault; Four Counts of Second Degree Sexual Assault; Four Counts of Second Degree Sexual Assault by Contact; Four Counts of Second Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child; and Third Degree Obscenity for Persons Under the Age of Eighteen. Pascasio-Erazio was Processed on The Charges and Remanded to The Bergen County Jail to await Future Court Proceedings.


     If Convicted on all Charges, Mr. Pascasio-Erazo will face the Potential of Spending the rest of his Life in New Jersey State Prison. U.S. Federal Authorities have also Placed a Hold on Pascasio-Erazo, for Deportation.
