BREAKING: Leonia, New Jersey Man Charged With Sex Crimes

     " Anibal Oyola Was Charged With The Multiple Sexual Assaults Of A Child Under The Age Of 13."

LEONIA, NJ.- Yesterday, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella reported that on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, a 39-Year-Old Leonia, New Jersey man was Arrested and Charged with the Multiple Sexual Assaults of a Child Under The Age of Thirteen over the course of Six Months.

     On Monday, August 7, 2023, Members of The Leonia Police Department contacted The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit regarding the Alleged Sexual Assault of a Child. A Swift-Moving investigation by Detectives of The Bergen County Special Victims Unit in conjunction with The Leonia Police Department was quickly able to determine Anibal Oyola, 39, of Leonia, New Jersey Sexually Assaulted the Child, who was Under the Age of Thirteen, in Leonia, on Multiple Occasions over the course of Six Months.

     Accordingly, on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, Mr. Oyola was Arrested in Paramus New Jersey, and Charged with First Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault; Second Degree Sexual Assault by Contact; Four Counts of Second Degree Sexual Assault; and Two Counts of Secon Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

     Mr. Oyola was Processed on the Charges and Remanded to The Bergen County Jail in Hackensack, New Jersey, pending Future Court Proceedings. If Convicted on all Charges Mr. Oyola could face spending the rest of his Life in New Jersey State Prison.
