ELIZABETH, NJ.- According to Union County Prosecutor William A. Daniel, Detectives are continuing to investigate The Shooting Death of a Somerset County Man that occurred early Saturday Morning in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
On Saturday, August 12, 2023, just shortly after midnight, Members of The Elizabeth Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting that a Man had been Shot in the area of North Broad Street and Magnolia Avenue in Elizabeth. Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, later identified as Jameer Outsey, 27, of Bridgewater, New Jersey, suffering from Multiple Gunshot Wounds.
Mr. Outsey was immediately transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was subsequently pronounced deceased a short time later.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time.
