61-YEAR-OLD RIDGEFIELD PARK MAN CHARGED FOR SEXUALLY ASSAULTING THREE CHILDREN

RIDGEFIELD PARK, NJ.- Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella reported that following an investigation a 61-Year-Old Ridgefield Park, New Jersey man was taken into Custody on Wednesday for Allegedly Sexually Assaulting 3 Children, One under the Age of Thirteen.
According to The Prosecutor's Office, on Thursday, June 29, 2023, Detectives of The Ridgefield Park Police Department notified The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit regarding the Alleged Sexual Assaults upon Three separate Children, with One being under the Age of Thirteen. An investigation was initiated.
During the course of the investigation, Members of The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office in conjunction with The Ridgefield Park Police Department interviewed multiple witnesses, including the Children. At the conclusion of the investigation, Detectives determined that Humberto Duenas, 61, a Married Trucker from Ridgefield Park, New Jersey, Sexually Assault all Three Children at Multiple Locations.
Accordingly, on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, Mr. Duenas was Arrested in Ridgefield Park and Formally Charged with Two Counts of First Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault; Second Degree Sexual Assault; Third Degree Aggravated Criminal Sexual Contact; and Third Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
Mr. Duenas was Processed on the Charges and Remanded to The Begen County Jail pending his First Appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court and a Potential Pretrial Detention Hearing.
If Convicted on all Charges, Mr. Duenas will face a potential Life Sentence in New Jersey State Prison.
