29-YEAR-OLD PATERSON MAN ARRIVES AT HOSPITAL AFTER BEING STRUCK BY GUNFIRE FRIDAY NIGHT

PATERSON, NJ.- Passaic County Authorities are Continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding a Friday Night Shooting that has left a 29-Year-Old Paterson, New Jersey man Hospitalized from a Gunshot Wound.
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer in Charge Isa Abbassi that on Friday, June 9, 2023, at approximately 10:01 p.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to the area of North 9th Street and Belmont Avenue in Paterson on a report of Shots being Fired.
Upon arrival, Police Officers located a potential crime scene but were unable to locate a victim. A short time later Police Officers responded to Saint Joesph's University Medical Center after they were notified that a 29-Year-Old Paterson, New Jersey man arrived at the Medical Center seeking treatment for a Non-Life Threatening Gunshot Wound.
Based on the initial investigation, Police Officers determined that the man was struck by Gunfire in the area of North 9th Street and Belmont Avenue.
No Arrests have been made at this time. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
