2 MEN WERE KILLED AND A WOMAN INJURED IN SATURDAY NIGHT'S NEWARK SHOOTING

NEWARK, NJ.- Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II reported that The Essex County Prosecutor's Office Homicide Task Force and Detectives of The Newark Police Department are continuing to investigate what appears to be a Targeted Shooting that occurred late Saturday Night that Killed Two Men and left a Woman Hospitalized.
According to Authorities, on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Members of The Newark Police Department responded to The 100 Block of Shephard Avenue in Newark, New Jersey, on a report of a Shooting.
Upon arrival, Police Officers found Two Men, one identified as Isaiah Cobb, 33, of Hillside, New Jersey, deceased from Multiple Gunshot Wounds, Mr. Cobb was pronounced deceased at the scene at 11:45 p.m. The other man, identified as Terrance Carroll, 51, of Newark, New Jersey suffering from a single Gunshot Wound. Mr. Carroll was immediately transported to University Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased a short time later.
A Female was also injured during the Shooting and she was transported to University Hospital where she remains Hospitalized.
The investigation remains active and ongoing and no Arrests have been made at this time. According to Authorities, there is no Danger to the Public.
