ONE DEAD AND TWO HOSPITALIZED IN LAST NIGHT'S TRENTON, NEW JERSEY SHOOTING

     " Mercer County Authorities Investigating The Circumstances Surrounding Last Night's Shooting At The Donnelly Homes Housing Complex."

TRENTON, NJ.- Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri reported that The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and Detectives of The Trenton Police Department are actively investigating a Triple Shooting that Killed a 23-Year-Old Man and left Two Others Hospitalized, that occurred last night in The City of Trenton.

     On Sunday, June 11, 2023, at approximately 8:05 p.m., Members of The Trenton Police Department responded to The Donnelly Homes Housing Complex on Willow Avenue on reports of Shots Fired.

     Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, later identified as Shaquan Brown, 23, of Trenton, suffering from a Gunshot Wound to the back of his Head. Mr. Brown was immediately transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he succumbed to his injury and was pronounced deceased a short time later.

     Police Officers also discovered Two other Gunshot Victims, each with Wounds to their Legs. Both Victims were also immediately transported to The Medical Center for treatment.

     The investigation remains active and ongoing, and no Arrests have been made at this time.
