Union City Woman Charged

FOLLOWING A NARCOTICS INVESTIGATION A UNION CITY, NEW JERSEY WOMAN HAS BEEN ARRESTED

UNION CITY, NJ.- Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez reported that on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, The Hudson County Narcotics Task Force Arrested a Union City, New Jersey woman following an investigation. 

     Angela Santana, 35, of Union City, has been Charged with Second Degree Possession with The Intent to Distribute Cocaine; Third Degree Possession with The Intent to Distribute Fentanyl; Fourth Degree Possession with The Intent to Distribute Drug Paraphernalia; Third Degree Possession with The Intent to Distribute Cocaine within 1000 Feet of School Property; Third Degree Hindering Apprehension or Prosecution; and Fourth Degree Tampering with Physical Evidence.

     Ms. Santana was Arrested at her Residence, Processed on The Charges, and Released on a Summons pending a First Appearance which has been Scheduled for April 25, 2023, in Hudson County Central Judicial Processing Court.

     During the early morning hours of Tuesday, April 4, 2023, Detectives of The Hudson County Narcotics Task Force Executed a Court Authorized Search Warrant at Ms. Santana's Residence, an Apartment located on 25th Street in Union City. Upon Detectives making entry into the Apartment, Detectives found Ms. Santana dumping Suspected Cocaine down a Bathtub Drain. Detectives seized over 25 Grams of Cocaine, over a Dozen Fentanyl Pills, and Drug Paraphernalia.
