TWO CHARGED FOR OCTOBER 16, 2022 UNION TOWNSHIP FATAL SHOOTING

UNION, NJ.- In a Joint statement, Union County Prosecutor William A. Daniel, Union Deputy Police Chief Scott Breslow, and Union Police Director Chris Donnelly announced that Two Men have been Arrested and Charged for The October Shooting Death of a Union, New Jersey man.
Ahmad Conde, 19, of Elizabeth, New Jersey, and Ducarmel H. Georges, 19, 0f Brooklyn, New York, were each Charged with One Count of First Degree Murder; Second Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. The Charges stem for the October 16, 2022, Fatal Shooting of Emmanuelle Florestal of Union, New Jersey.
On October 16, 2022, at approximately 6:39 p.m., Members of The Union Police Department responded to Hendricks Drive in Union on a report of a Shooting. Upon arrival, Police Officers found a Victim, later identified as Emmanuelle Florestal, suffering from a Gunshot Wound to his Chest. Mr. Florestal was immediately transported to University Hospital in Newark, where Mr. Florestal succumbed to his injury and was pronounced deceased.
A Joint Investigation was initiated by The Union County Prosecutor's Office Homicide Task Force, The Union Police Department, Union County Sheriff's Office, and Union County Police Ballistics, with assistance from The United States Marshals Service and The New York Police Department, led to Mr. Conde and Mr. Georges as Suspects, and the individuals responsible for the Death of Mr. Florestal.
On March 20, 2023, Members of The United States Marshals Service New York/ New Jersey Regional Task Force Executed Arrest Warrants in Brooklyn, New York, at which time Mr. Georges was taken into custody. Mr. Conde remained at large until March 28, 2023, when he was taken into Custody.
