THREE CHARGED IN CONNECTION WITH THE EASTER SUNDAY TRENTON HOMICIDE
" Joseph Fayson, Justin Malkin, & Darrin Eutsey Have All Been Charged In The Shooting Death Of Jhosse Tolentino."

TRENTON, NJ.- Mercer County Prosecutor Angle J. Onofri reported that on Monday, April 17, 2023, Members of The Mercer County Homicide Task Force Arrested and Charged Two Trenton, New Jersey Men, and a Hamilton, New Jersey Man for the Easter Sunday Shooting Death of a 23-Year-Old man on Federal Street in Trenton.
The Three Men, Joseph Fayson, 22, and Justin Malkin, 23, both of Trenton, New Jersey, and Darrin Eutsey, 23, of Hamilton, New Jersey were Arrested early Monday Morning. The Three have each been Charged with First Degree Murder; Second Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon; and Third Degree Theft by Receiving Stolen Property. Mr. Fayson and Mr. Malkin were additionally Charged with Second Degree Certain Persons Not to Process Weapons. All Three were processed on the Charges and Remanded to The Mercer County Correctional Facility. The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office has Filed a PreTrial Detention Motion to have the men Detained pending Trial.
The Charges are the result of an investigation by Members of The Mercer County Homicide Task Force. Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri praised the investigative work of The Homicide Task Force and thanked the public for the assistance provided during the investigation. " I cannot emphasize enough how important it is for the community to work with us," Prosecutor Onofri said. " I encourage the public to maintain communication with law enforcement," he added.
On Sunday, April 9, 2023, at approximately 6:56 p.m., Members of The Trenton Police Department responded to a Multiple ShotSpotter Activation in the area of Lamberton and Federal Streets in Trenton, New Jersey.
Upon arrival, Police Officers located a man, later identified as Jhosse Tolentino, 23, of Trenton, in the Driver's Seat of his Parked Car, suffering from Multiple Gunshot Wounds. Mr. Tolentino was immediately transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
While processing the Crime Scene, Detectives located 34 Shell Casings on the side of 601 Lamberton Street, next to Mr. Tolentino's Gray 2010 Infiniti G37. Detectives further discovered that Mr. Tolentino's vehicle has been Struck several times by Gunfire.
During the investigation, Detectives reviewed video surveillance footage from the surrounding area, which captured a 2007 Black Toyota 4Runner, later identified as being stolen. The 4Runner proceeded across Lamberton Street, and drive up to Mr. Tolentino's Vehicle. The Three men, Mr. Fayson, Mr. Malkin, and Mr. Eutsey could be seen exiting the 4Runner with Firearms. The Three approached the Driver's Side of Mr. Tolention's vehicle and Opened Fire striking Mr. Tolentino and his Vehicle.
The Tragic Murder of Mr. Tolentino is the result of a Four Year Gang Feud between H-Block Gang Members and Individuals in The South Trenton Area, specifically individuals associated with Lamberton Street, which Mr. Tolentino was a part of. The Ongoing Feud has included numerous Murders, Shootings, and Disputes on Social Media. Detectives uncovered that there was a Dispute on The Instagram Social Media Platform between Mr. Tolentino and Family Members of H-Block Gang Members which led up to the Shooting Death of Mr. Tolentino.
