23-YEAR-OLD FORDS NEW JERSEY WOMAN STRUCK BY GUNFIRE EARLY MONDAY MORNING

     " A Woman Arrives At Hospital After Being Struck By Gunfire In Prospect Park."

PROSPECT PARK, NJ.- Gunfire rang out in the early morning hours of Monday, injuring a 23-Year-Old Fords, New Jersey woman, according to authorities. 

     The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office reported, that On Monday, April 10, 2023, just before 3:00 a.m., Members of The Prospect Park Police Department responded to the area of Haledon Avenue and North 9th Street in Prospect Park on a report of Shots Fired.  

     Upon arrival, Police Officers found a Crime Scene but were unable to locate a victim. Within minutes Police Officers were notified that a 23-Year-Old Fords, New Jersey woman had arrived at Saint Joseph's Wayne Medical Center in Wayne, New Jersey, seeking treatment for a Non-Life Threatening Gunshot Wound. The Woman was subsequently transported to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey. The woman's condition is unknown at this time.

     The Investigation remains active and ongoing, and no Arrests have been made.
