FAIRVIEW, NJ.- Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella reported that on Thursday, March 30, 2023, a 35-Year-Old Fairview, New Jersey, man was Arrested in connection with a 13-Month-Old Child ingesting Fentanyl.
On Wednesday, March 29, 2023, The Fairview Police Department contacted Members of The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit regarding an Unresponsive Child. An investigation by Members of The Bergen County Specials Victims Unit and The Fairview Police Department determined that a 13-Month-Old Child had ingested Suspected Fentanyl and was revived with Narcan at the hospital. Detectives were able to identify Geraldo Colon as the individual responsible for allowing the Child to ingest the Fentanyl.
Accordingly, on Thursday, March 30, 2023, Geraldo Colon, 35, of Fairview, New Jersey, was Arrested and Charged with One Count of Secon Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Mr. Colon was Processed on the Charged and Remanded to The Bergen County Jail pending Future Court Proceedings.
