Urgent Care Doctor Charged Again

FIRST CHARGED IN MIDDLESEX AND MONMOUTH COUNTY DOCTOR CHARGED IN ESSEX COUNTY

NEWARK, NJ.- Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II, announced the Arrest of Dr. Gurvindra Johal. On Wednesday, March 8, 2023, Dr. Johal was Formally Charged with Three Counts of Criminal Sexual Contact. It has been Alleged that Dr. Johal Inappropriately Touched Two Patients under his care at an Urgent Care Center located on Broad Street in Newark, New Jersey.

     Dr. Johal, 55, of The Colonia Section of Woodbridge Township was First Charged with Criminal Sexual Contact by The Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office for Inappropriately Touching Patients under his care at a Perth Amboy, New Jersey Urgent Care Center.

     Johal was again Charged by The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office for again Inappropriately Touching Patients under his care at Freehold, New Jersey Urgent Care Center.
