ESSEX COUNTY AUTHORITIES ARE CONTINUING TO INVESTIGATE THE FATAL STABBING OF A MAN

NEWARK, NJ.- Police continue to investigate the circumstance surrounding the Fatal Stabbing of a 31-Year-Old Newark, New Jersey man who was found Dead yesterday morning, inside a Parking Garage on Mount Prospect Avenue in Newark, according to The Essex County Prosecutor's Office.

     On Friday, March 10, 2023, at approximately 11:27 a.m., Members of The Newark Police Department responded to a Parking Garage located on The 400 Block of Mount Prospect Avenue in Newark on a report of a Stabbing.

     Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, later identified as Jabari A. Mason, 31, of Newark, New Jersey unresponsive having succumbed to Multiple Stab Wounds. Mr Mason was pronounced deceased at the scene.

     The investigation remains active and ongoing. No Arrests have been made. The Essex County Prosecutor's Office asks anyone with information regarding the Stabbing Death of Mr. Mason to contact The Prosecutor's Office Tips Line at 1-877-TIPS-4EC or 1-877-847-7432.
