POLICE SEARCHING FOR A SUSPECT IN SATURDAY NIGHT'S FATAL SHOOTING

     " Hudson County Authorities Investigating The Shooting Death Of Tyreef Robinson Of Jersey City."

JERSEY CITY, NJ.- The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office Homicide Unit and Detectives of The Jersey City Department are investigating the Fatal Shooting of a 34-Year-Old Jersey City man, that occurred late Saturday Night, according to The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office.

     Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez reported, that on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at approximately 10:16 p.m., Members of The Jersey City Police Department responded to the area of 2 Bergen Avenue in Jersey City on a report of a Shooting.

     Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, later identified as Tyreef Robinson, 34, of Jersey City, New Jersey, unresponsive from a Gunshot Wound to his Chest. Mr. Robinson was pronounced deceased at the scene at 10:27 p.m. 

     The Cause and The Manner of the Death are pending findings of The Hudson County Regional Medical Examiner's Office.
