MORRISTOWN, NJ.- On Thursday, February 16, 2023, a Jury sitting in Morris County, New Jersey has Convicted Vinicio Orellana, 45, of Landing, New Jersey on all Charges in connection with the Sexual Contact Offenses and Child Endangerment. The Conviction stems from an incident that occurred on September 27, 2020 in Flanders, News Jersey, according to Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll.
The Jury returned The Verdict yesterday following a Three Day Trial. Mr. Orellana was found Guilty on Three Counts of Fourth Degree Criminal Sexual Contact and One Count of Third Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Sentencing in this matter has been scheduled for March 24, 2023, in Morris County Superior Court.
The Charges stem from an incident that occurred on September 27, 2020, in Mount Olive Township. Mr. Orellana touched the Private Parts of a 16-Year-Old Girl numerous times. The incident was reported to Members of The Mount Olive Police Department September 27, 2020.
