24 YEAR OLD WOMAN BRUTALLY STABBED TO DEATH IN A DOMESTIC VIOLENCE INCIDENT

WEST NEW YORK, NJ.- An early morning Domestic Dispute comes to a tragic end with a 24-Year-Old woman being Stabbed to Death and an alleged suspect in custody in Hackensack University Medical Center, according to Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez.
On Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at approximately 5:54 a.m., Members of The West New York Police Department responded to a residence located at 4914 Murphy Place on a report of an Injured Person.
Upon arrival, Police Officers discovered the lifeless body of a 24-Year-Old Woman, having succumbed to Multiple Stab Wounds. The Woman was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene at 6:31 a.m. this morning.
The cause and manner of Death are pending findings of The Regional Medical Examiner's Office. The woman's identity has not been released at this time. The initial investigation has determined that the victim and the assailant are known to each other and the case is being investigated as an act of Domestic Violence, according to authorities.
The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office Homicide Unit and The West New York Police Department are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding this incident.
