FORMER LONG BEACH POLICE OFFICER CHARGED WITH THEFT
" Jason Hildebrant Charged With Theft For Misappropriation Of Funds."

TOMS RIVER, NJ.- On Monday, February 6, 2023, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer announced that on Friday, February 3, 2023, Jason Hildebrant, 44, of Forked River, New Jersey has been Charged with Theft by Failure to Make Required Disposition.
Following an investigation by Members of The Ocean County Prosecutor's Office Economic Crimes Squad in conjunction with The Ocean County Prosecutor's Office Professional Standards Unit determined that Mr. Hildebrant who had recently retired from The Long Beach Police Department, was acting in his Official Capacity as Treasurer of The New Jersey Policemen's Benevolent Association, Ocean County Conference.
During October of 2018 through December of 2022, Mr. Hildebrant as Treasurer unlawfully withdrew funds from The Association's Bank Account through various ATM Machines and Counter Withdraws. Mr. Hildebrant then used the funds for his own Personal Benefit.
Mr. Hildebrant was Processed on the Charges on Friday at The Ocean County Sheriff's Office and released on a summons pending future court proceedings in Ocean County State Superior Court.
