Trenton Man Additional Charged

TRENTON MAN ADDITIONAL CHARGED FOR THE BEATING DEATH OF 41 YEAR OLD GIRLFRIEND

     " Alton Eubanks Originally Charged With Moving & Disturbing Human Remains, Now Stands Charged For The Murder Of His Girlfriend In Late September."

TRENTON, NJ.- On Thursday, November 10, 2022, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri announced that a Trenton man previously Charged with Purposefully Disturbing, Moving and or Concealing Human Remains has now been Charged with the Murder of Corrine Daniels, 41, of Trenton, New Jersey.



     Alton Eubanks, 48, of Trenton was Arrested on October 12, 2022, in Middleburg, New York by Members of The U.S. Marshals New York/ New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force. On Monday, November 7, 2022, Mr. Eubanks was Additionally Charged with One Count of First Degree Murder.


     The Charge is the result of an Investigation by The Mercer County Homicide Task Force, in conjunction with Detectives from The Trenton Police Department.


     On September 21, 2022, Members of The Trenton Police Department responded to a residence located on Park Avenue in Trenton for a Well-Being Check. Upon arrival, Police Officers forced entry into the residence and discovered the body of a deceased woman, later identified as Corrine Daniels, 41, deceased in the basement of the residence. 


     On September 22, 2022, an autopsy was performed by The Middlesex County Medical Examiner's Office on Ms. Daniels and the determination of The Medical Examiner was that the Cause of Death was Multiple Blunt Force Injuries and the Manner of Death to be that of Homicide.


     The investigation further revealed that Ms. Daniels and Mr. Eubanks resided together at the Park Avenue home as Boyfriend and Girlfriend. After allegedly Beating Ms. Daniels, Eubanks placed Ms. Daniels in a Large Black Trash Bag and moved her to the basement where Police Officers discovered her.
