East Elmhurst New York Man Charged

EAST ELMHURST NEW YORK MAN CHARGED WITH MULTIPLE NARCOTICS OFFENSES 

      " Following An Investigation In Bergen County, Hugo Morales Has Been Charged With Multiple Counts Of Distribution Of Cocaine."

PARAMUS, NJ.- On Thursday, November 17, 2022, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced that following an investigation into Narcotics Distribution in Bergen County, New Jersey, a 40-Year-Old East Elmhurst, New York has been Arrested and Charged on Multiple Narcotics Offenses.


     An investigation by The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Narcotics Task Force revealed that Hugo Morales, 40, of East Elmhurst had sold Cocaine numerous times to an Undercover Detective, starting on September 22, 2022. 


     On, Wednesday, November 16, 2022, Members of The Bergen County Narcotics Task Force, Bergen County Regional Swat Team, and Members of The Paramus Police Department Arrested Mr. Morales as he attempted to sell Cocaine from his vehicle in Paramus, New Jersey.


     Mr. Morales was Formally Charged with One Count of Second Degree Distribution of a Controlled Dangerous Substance; and Four Counts of Third Degree Distribution of a Controlled Dangerous Substance. Morales was processed on the offenses and released pending his First Appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, New Jersey.
