Three Massachusetts Men Charged

THREE MASSACHUSETTS MEN CHARGED WITH DRUG AND WEAPONS OFFENSES IN BERGEN COUNTY

     " An Investigation In Teaneck Results In The Arrests Of Kelvin Perez, Joseph Espinal & Brayan Lebron On Drug Trafficking & Weapons Offenses."

TEANECK, NJ.- On Thursday, October 6, 2022, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the Arrests of Kelvin Perez, 36, of Lawrence, Massachusetts, Joseph Espinal, 22, of Lawrence Massachusetts & Brayan Lebron, 23, of Lawrence, Massachusetts on Narcotics and Weapons Offenses. The Arrests are a direct result of an investigation conducted by The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.


     On Wednesday, October 5, 2022, while traveling through Bergen County, New Jersey the three Massachusetts men were stopped by Detectives from The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Narcotics Task Force on suspicion of Transporting Bulk Amounts of Narcotics, Weapons and Money derived from Criminal Activity.


     After being stopped in Teaneck, a Court Authorized Search Warrant was conducted on the men's vehicle. Detectives found Five Ounces of Suspected Cocaine, Two Loaded Handguns, one containing Hollow Point Bullets, and $25, 515.00 in Cash. The three men were Arrested at the scene. 


     Mr. Perez, Mr. Espinal, and Mr. Lebron were each Charged with First Degree Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance in an amount Greater than Five Ounces; Two Counts of Second Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; Two Counts of Possession of a Weapon while Possessing a Controlled Dangerous Substance; Third Degree Money Laundering; and Fourth Degree Possession of Hollow Point Bullets.


     All three were processed on the Charges, and remanded to The Bergen County Jail to await their First Appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, New Jersey.
