MERCER COUNTY AUTHORITIES ARE INVESTIGATING THE FATAL STABBING OF A 32 YEAR OLD TRENTON MAN

TRENTON, NJ.- On Thursday, February 24, 2022 Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri announced The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and The Trenton Police Department are investigating a Late Wednesday Afternoon Fatal Stabbing in Trenton, New Jersey.
On Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at approximately 5:00 p.m., Members of The Trenton Police Department responded to the area of The 500 Block of Whittaker Avenue on a report of a Stabbing.
Upon arrival, Police Officers discovered a male victim later identified as Leonardo Fernandez, 32, of Trenton, suffering from Multiple Stab Wounds to his Abdomen. Mr. Fernandez was immediately transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
