KEARNY TEEN CHARGED WITH CRIMINAL SEXUAL CONTACT FOR INCIDENTS THAT OCCURRED AT THE KEARNY HIGH SCHOOL

KEARNY, NJ.- On Tuesday, February 1, 2022 Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced that Members of The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit have Charged a 17- Year-Old male student on Sexual Offense Charges involving a Female Student at Kearny High School. Both incidents occurred inside the School during the current school year.
Authorities were first notified of the Offenses on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 and The Special Victims Unit immediately opened its investigation.
As a result of the investigation, on Monday, January 31, 2022 the 17-Year-Old Student was Arrested at The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office in Jersey City, New Jersey and was Charged with Two Counts of Criminal Sexual Contact. The teen was released to a Legal Guardian pending future Court Proceedings.
