Paterson New Jersey Shooting

PASSAIC COUNTY AUTHORITIES CONTINUE TO INVESTIGATE MONDAY AFTERNOON SHOOTING THAT INJURED TWO WOMEN

     " Shooting In The Area Of East 23rd Street & Hamilton Avenue Has Left A 23-Year-Old Bloomfield Woman & A 21-Year-Old Paterson Woman Injured."

PATERSON, NJ.- On Monday, January 3, 2022 Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora announced that on Monday, January 3, 2022, at approximately 3:44 p.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to the area of East 23rd Street and Hamilton Avenue in Paterson, New Jersey on a report of a shooting. 


     Upon arrival, Police Officers located a potential crime scene, but no victim was located. A short time later, Members of The Paterson Police Department were notified that a 23-Year-Old Bloomfield, New Jersey woman and a 21-Year-Old Paterson, New Jersey woman had arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey by way of private vehicle seeking treatment for non-life threatening gunshot wounds.


     The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information may become available once it is released once released by authorities.
