IRVINGTON, NJ.- On Tuesday, January 4, 2022 Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens and Irvington Police Director Tracy Bowers announced The Essex County Prosecutor's Office Homicide Task Force and The Irvington Police Department are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the Fatal Shooting of Kevin L. Williams, 34, of Newark, New Jersey.
On Monday, January 3, 2022, at approximately 6:58 p.m., Members of The Irvington Police responded to The 100 Block of Cleremont Avenue in Irvington on a report of a man being Shot. Upon arrival, Police Officers located Mr. Williams, who had succumbed from multiple Gunshot Wounds. Mr. Williams was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene at 7:24 p.m. on January 3, 2022.
At this time no Arrests have been made. The investigation remains active and ongoing. Anyone with information regarding this incident and the Fatal Shooting of Kevin L.
