HAMILTON MAN CHARGED WITH SEXUALLY ASSAULTING A WOMAN AT GUNPOINT AND ROBBING HER

PARSIPPANY, NJ.- On Sunday, January 9, 2022 Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll, Chief of Detectives Christoph Kimker, and Parsippany Police Department Acting Chief Richard Pantina, announced the Arrest of Earl L. Kelly, 36, of Hamilton, New Jersey.
Mr. Kelly has been Charged with Four Counts of First Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault; Two Counts of Second Degree Sexual Assault; Two Counts of Third Aggravated Criminal Sexual Contact; One Count of Fourth Degree Criminal Sexual Contact; One Count of First Degree Robbery; One Count of Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon; One Count of Second Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; One Count of Fourth Degree Aggravated Assault; and Third Degree Criminal Restraint.
It is Alleged that on Friday, December 24, 2021, Mr. Kelly Sexually Assaulted and Robbed a 19-Year-Old woman while armed with a handgun at the Holiday Inn in Parsippany, New Jersey. Following an investigation, Mr. Kelly was apprehended by Members of The Edison Police Department on Friday, January 7, 2022.
After Mr. Kelly's Arrest, he was processed on the Charges and remanded to The Morris County Correctional Facility, pending a First Appearance and potential Detention Hearing in Morris County Superior Court in Morristown, New Jersey.
