PENNSAUKEN, NJ.- On Wednesday, January 12, 2022 Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAuley and Pennsauken Police Chief Philip Olivo announced a man wanted in the Fatal Shooting of a Pennsauken woman has been apprehended.
Joshua Johnson, 18, of Camden, New Jersey was Apprehended in Newark, New Jersey, on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 by Members of The U.S. Marshals Regional Fugitive Task Force. Mr. Johnson has been Charged with First Degree Murder and Multiple Related Offenses in the Sunday Morning Shooting Death of Darlene Randall, 62, of Pennsauken, New Jersey.
On Sunday, January 9, 2022, at approximately 1:52 a.m., Members of The Pennsauken Police Department responded to The 3700 Block of Herbert Avenue in Pennsauken, on reports of a Home Invasion. Upon arrival, Police Officers discovered a Female Victim, later identified as Darlene Randall suffering from a Gunshot Wound. Ms. Randall was immediately transported to a nearby hospital where she succumbed to her injury and was pronounced deceased a short time later.
Mr. Johnson was transported to Camden County where he was processed on the offenses and remanded to The Camden County Correctional Facility pending a First Appearance and Detention Hearing in Camden County State Superior Court.
