Two Trenton New Jersey Homicides Under Investigation

TWO TRENTON MEN WERE FATALLY SHOT IN SEPARATE INCIDENTS IN NEW JERSEY'S CAPITAL CITY SUNDAY MORNING 

     " Within The First Hour Of Sunday Morning, 2 Men Were Fatally Shot & 1 Injured In Trenton, New Jersey."

TRENTON, NJ.- On Sunday, October 3, 2021 Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri announced that The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and The Trenton Police Department are investigating Two Shootings in Trenton, New Jersey that left two dead, and one injured.


     Just around midnight on October 3, 2021, Members of The Trenton Police Department responded to the 400 Block of Stuyvesant Avenue in Trenton, on a report of a ShotSpotter Activation.



     Upon arrival, Police Officers found an adult male who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his chest. The male victim was immediately transported to the hospital, where succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased a few hours later. A second male shooting victim had arrived at the hospital by way of private vehicle after being struck by gunfire. Authorities located multiple shell casings at the scene, two house were also struck by gunfire, no occupants of the homes were injured.


     In a separate incident, on Sunday, October 3, 2021, at approximately 12:50 a.m., Members of The Trenton Police Department responded to the intersection of Roebling Avenue and Washington Street in Trenton, on a report of Shots Fired.


     Upon arrival, Police Officers found an adult male victim in the 800 Block of Roebling Avenue, unresponsive after having sustained gunshot wounds. The victim was immediately transported to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.


     The investigations in both incidents remain active and ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time.
