TRENTON, NJ.- On Saturday, October 30, 2021 Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri announced, The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and The Trenton Police Department are continuing their investigation into an early Saturday morning Fatal Shooting in Trenton, New Jersey.
On Saturday, October 30, 2021, at approximately 3:25 a.m., Members of The Trenton Police Department responded to the area of the 900 Block of Brunswick Avenue in Trenton on a report of a multi round ShotSpotter Activation.
Upon arrival, Police Officers located a victim, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, later identified as Dartanian Ames, 41, of Lawrence, New Jersey was immediately transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries, and was pronounced deceased a short time later.
