TRENTON, NJ.- On Friday, September 17, 2021 Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri announced that The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are actively investigating a shooting that occurred in Trenton, New Jersey early Friday morning that left one victim dead.
On Friday, September 17, 2021, at approximately 12:53 a.m., Members of The Trenton Police Department responded to a home on Race Street, within The City on a report of an unresponsive male. Upon arrival, Police Officers located a 37-year-old male victim who sustained multiple gunshot wounds, who was identified as Jeff Charles of Trenton, New Jersey. Mr. Charles was pronounced deceased.
