PHILLIPSBURG, NJ.- On Friday, September 17, 2021 Warren County Prosecutor James L. Pheiffer announced that a former Phillipsburg High School Teacher has Pleaded Guilty to a Conspiracy Charge in connection with Criminal Coercion.
On April 26, 2021, David Post, 36, a Phillipsburg High School Teacher was Charged with conspiring with others to threaten to release information about another Phillipsburg School District employee, in order for that employee to influence a tenure vote for Mr. Post and other Teachers.
Today, In Warren County Superior Court, Mr Post Plead Guilty to One Count of Third Degree Conspiracy to Commit Criminal Coercion. As a result of his Plea and the considerable cooperation he has provided to the investigation, Mr. Post will be entered into The Pretrial Intervention Program, and placed on probation.
