North Arlington House Fire Under Investigation

EARLY MORNING FATAL HOUSE FIRE IN NORTH ARLINGTON, NEW JERSEY IS UNDER INVESTIGATION BY BERGEN COUNTY AUTHORITIES

NORTH ARLINGTON, NJ.- On Thursday, September 17, 2021 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced that The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit and The North Arlington Police Department are investigating a Fatal House Fire located on Ninth Street in North Arlington, New Jersey.



     On Friday, September 17, 2021, at approximately 4:16 a.m., Members of The North Arlington Police Department received a report of a house fire from one of the occupants of a single family home at 1 Ninth Street. Two Individuals were located in the residence, and pronounced deceased at the scene. Another individual was located in the residence and was immediately transported to an area hospital.


     The victims have been positively identified as 75-Year-Old Safwat Saad and 44-Year-Old Maged Saad.


     An investigation into the cause and origin of the fire is being conducted by The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and The North Arlington Police Department under the direction of Chief Scott Hedenberg.
