PATERSON, NJ.- On Sunday, September 26, 2021 Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora announced that on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at approximately 10:45 p.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department were advised that a 23-Year-Old Clifton, New Jersey man arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey by way of private vehicle for treatment of multiple non-life threatening gunshot wounds.
Based on the initial investigation by Police, the victim was in a parked car in the area of Godwin Avenue and Rosa Parks Boulevard when an occupant of a passing motor vehicle began shooting at him, striking him several times. A potential crime scene was located in that area.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information may become available once it is released by authorities.
