Little Egg Harbor Man Detained On Charges

LITTLE EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP NEW JERSEY MAN DETAINED ON CHARGES FOR SUPPLYING HEROIN TO A 16-YEAR-OLD WHICH RESULTED IN HIS DEATH

     " An Ocean County Superior Court Judge Ordered David Belk Detained On Charges Of Strict Liability For A Drug Induced Death For The Fatal Overdose Of A 16-Year-Old Teen."

TOMS RIVER, NJ.- On Friday, September 3, 2021 Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer announced that today, The Honorable Wendel E. Daniels, P.J.Cr.P, ordered that David Belk, 45, of Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey shall be detained in the Ocean County Jail pending trial on charges of Strict Liability Drug Induced Death;  Endangering the Welfare of a Child;  Possession of Heroin with Intent to Distribute;  and Possession of Heroin.


     The Charges are in connection with the Death of a Sixteen-Year-Old male in Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey on Thursday, July 3, 2021. 



     On Friday, August 27, 2021, Mr. Belk was apprehended in Atlantic City by The New Jersey Transit Police, and has been lodged in the Ocean County Jail since his apprehension. Mr. Belks Co-Defendant, Stephanie O’Neill, 44, also of Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey was released by the court on home detention pursuant to New Jersey Bail Reform.
