KEARNY, NJ.- On Friday, August 20, 2021 Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced that Christopher Graham of North Bergen, New Jersey, previously Charged with Sexual Assault Offenses, has now been additionally charged.
On Thursday, August 19, 2021, at approximately 6:20 p.m., Members of the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office arrested Christopher Graham, 46, of North Bergen, New Jersey on multiple Controlled Dangerous Substance charges. Graham was arrested at the Hudson County Correctional Facility in Kearny, New Jersey where he is being held on charges involving an alleged sexual assault from earlier in the week at a North Bergen Hotel.
During the Sexual Assault investigation, a search warrant for the defendant’s residence was executed. During the execution of the warrant, Detectives recovered various items related to the Possession and Distribution of Controlled Dangerous Substance including Cocaine, PCP, Drug Paraphernalia and more than $3,000 in United States currency.
Graham has been Charged with First Degree Possession with the Intent to Distribute PCP; Second Degree Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine; Fourth Degree Possession with the Intent to Distribute Drug Paraphernalia; Third Degree Possession with Intent to Distribute PCP within 1,000 Feet of School Property; Third Degree Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine within 1,000 Feet of School Property; Third Degree Possession of PCP; and Third Degree Possession of Cocaine.
Earlier in the week, Members of the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit arrested Graham on charges involving the sexual assault of an 18-year-old female victim from Jersey City at a hotel located at 2600 Tonnelle Avenue in North Bergen, New Jersey.
Graham was charged with One Count of First Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault and one count of Third Degree Aggravated Criminal Sexual Contact.
The Prosecutor’s Office has filed a motion for pretrial detention of the defendant. A hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, August 24, 2021.
